Truman is Two
Two weeks ago my baby turned two years old. The second birthday for this third child was sadly lacking in creativity and, perhaps, missing the appropriate celebration.
On his actual birthday we made chocolate instant pudding. Nothing but the best for the birthday boy. But everyone had a hand in it.
When the cousins were all together over the weekend we decided to celebrate with Banana Splits. None of the kids had experienced a banana split (that they remembered) so it was a grand dessert indeed. Mini versions, but with all the fixings: bananas, ice cream, fudge, strawberries, pineapple, with Redi-Wip and a cherry on top.
All the cousins getting in on opening presents.
Truman suddenly knows how to smile for the camera! What a ham!
Truman: You are super loving and so snugly and perfectly squishy and soft. You enjoy giving hugs to others, not so much because you need the loving, but rather because you want to give the loving to someone else, and then you're off again...getting into everything. You can climb and run and pat the dog and (almost) keep up with your brothers. You can sign and use words and scream unbelievably loud all to get your point across. Your favorite little LaLa dog has become your favorite companion and, if I let you, you would carry your big blankie everywhere, as well. You love to read books, especially if they have a LoLo (loader) or any other truck, tractor or equipment. You dig in the sand and ride little scooters and push trucks and smell flowers and generally love being outside. You are my best boy and I love you!
Happy Birthday my sweet boy!
