OK Ladies

Tell me I am not alone in the struggle to find a well-fitted bra. I had an afternoon without kids so I stopped at Kohl's knowing I could be in a dressing room without the door being flung open at an inopportune time. I probably tried on 15 different bras in four different sizes. (Maybe I don't know my size...or maybe the size is a mere suggestion??) I could not find any correlation between sizes and common bra problems such as puckering, pooching or cutting off the blood circulation to half my body. Finally after finding one that fit well I thought it might be nice to have two different colors. I tried them both on because I'm on-to these bra manufacturers. Sure enough, they fit differently. Anyway, I ended up bringing two new bras home...two different brands...two different sizes.

And then I went to the men's section to pick up a couple things for my husband. I got a pair of slacks (34 x 30) and a button down shirt (16 neck; L). I didn't unfold them. I didn't hold them up to a mirror. He didn't try them on. And you know what? They will fit him perfectly!

I share your pain. Really, I do.

So much that I went to Dillard's and spent 1 hour in a fitting room with a bra specialist. If you can get beyond standing half naked in front of a stranger, it's worth it. I have a $70 bra to show for it (2, actually) but it really was worth it.
Promise :)

Are you shopping for nursing bras or regular bras? I've had fantastic luck w/ nursing bras by Bravado! Designs and Melinda G.

For reals! Chris doesn't try things on; he walks into a store, picks it up, and buys it. It kind of drives me crazy! I, on the other hand, have to try on EVERYTHING. Bras are certainly no exception. I'll even have the lady at Victoria Secret or wherever measure me, and they all measure slightly differently, too! Grrr. I'm glad you found ones you liked. :)
