A Few Baby Pictures

Image
I love babies.  Especially when they are small and scrunchy.  Especially when they are mine.  Andrew loves the baby!  This was literally the first bottle we gave him after coming home.  Andrew had to be involved.  "Baby.  N-ilk"  What's not to love about a burrito baby! I love Size NB!  They don't last long, especially when the little one starts out at 8 pounds, but they sure are cute. Tyler:  "Where's Andrew?" Me: "Probably in the crib with the baby." And this is how Calvin has been spending his time.

Welcome Little Boy!

The Right Tool for the Job

Rahab

A few months ago a friend of mine told me a story about a local ministry. A ministry that reaches out to a population I have virtually no experience with. A population that has never even been on my "radar screen." A population that seems so far removed from me that I don't even know why God would soften my heart.  But God is softening my heart.  He is pushing me along and giving me compassion I didn't know I had.  The ministry is called Cord of Hope and it reaches out to dancers in men's clubs.  Since that brief introduction months ago, I have invited myself to be a part of this ministry.  Unfortunately, I had to miss my first meeting this weekend but God has been faithfully giving me reason to think and pray about this ministry.  Today I began to wonder about the name Cord of Hope and could only assume that the name came from the story of Rahab and how she hung a scarlet cord...
